The Kinesis Aithein Disc Road Frameset is a great starting point for a fast road bike ideally suited to UK riding conditions thanks to the wide tyre clearance and disc brake compatibility.

The Super Plastic Formed alloy and Columbus carbon fork are both stiff and lightweight for good power transfer whilst the 68mm threaded bottom bracket shell will eliminate creaking.

Kinesis Aithein Disc Road Frameset

An excellent basis for a rapid road machine, the Kinesis Aithein Disc Road Frameset is made from Super Plastic Formed alloy which allows more complex shapes to be produced and the stiffness and compliance of the frame to be optimised to efficiency and comfort. The Columbus carbon fork is also excellent at vibration damping, further helped by the 30mm tyre clearance. Cable routing is versatile and internal, using interchangeable cable entry points that can fit both electronic and mechanical systems and the frame is prepared for flat-mount disc brake calipers for greater wet weather stopping power.
