The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment on the MAAP Vertical DWR Long Sleeve Jersey causes water to bead up on the surface of the jacket and not soak through, whilst the absence of a membrane means that breathability remains unaffected. Although it is not a fully waterproof piece it will provide a good deal of protection without the inherent risk of getting wet from the inside that comes with waterproof clothing. The MAAP Signature Pro Fit keeps the jacket sculpted to the body for better aerodynamics and makes layering under a jacket more comfortable when required. Practicalities are taken care of by three good sized rear pockets and a reflective tab.
