POC Cerebel AVIP Helmet

The POC Cerebel AVIP Helmet was worn by Garmin-Sharp Professional Cycling Team in 2014 and for 2015 it is racking up the miles with the Cannondale-Garmin Pro Cycling Team. After extensive development both on the road and in the wind tunnel, working with the likes of Volvo and WATTS lab, POC have created their fastest aero road helmet yet.

Designed to provide excellent aerodynamic efficiency, the Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) engineered helmet works just as well when the upper body is moving as when it is in a static time trial position.

Adding comfort, the rear of the helmet is made from a soft moulded Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) material. This also improves aerodynamics by reducing drag.

A high quality Zeiss visor is held securely in place with a POC designed magnetic system. Riding in bright sunlight is not an issue as the visor tint enhances the contrast on the road. This keeps your vision clear and enables you to spot obstacles and potholes.

Attention, Visibility, Interaction and Protection (AVIP) is POC's safety system. In the case of the Cerebel, the POC signature, bright zinc orange design keeps you seen. Additional high visibility can be achieved by attaching the, included, reflective sticker kit and In Case of Emergency (ICE) tag.

The perfect helmet for time trials and triathlons, the helmet features an easy to use size adjustment system and weighs just 380 grams in its medium size.
