The most oval ring Rotor have produced is the QXL is the ideal chainring set for racing and training, minimising the dead spot, improving your cadence and letting you hit power numbers you could previously only dream of!

Made from lightweight, strong, 7075 aluminium and in a black colour scheme with eye-catching Rotor graphics to really make these rings stand out.

The original concept of ovalised rings was to reduce the pedaling dead spot, often found when using round rings. Over the years Rotor have developed their rings now giving 5 OCP mounting options. This allows the rider to setup the rings to their personal riding style, whether that be a spinner or more of a big gear pusher.

Developed with the assistance of professional riders and teams to vary the drivetrain resistance when pedalling and work in tandem with your legs strengths and weaknesses. The rings help to extenuate the use of the stronger muscles and support the weaker muscles, all this resulting in a much more consistent and well-rounded pedal stroke.

QXL chainrings are most noticeable when riding in conditions of high power delivery and consistent maximum (peak) effort, like time trials, sprints, breakaways, etc.

The QXL has 16% ovalisation compared to the standard Q ring’s 10% making them ideal for high cadence efforts, sprinting and situations when you want rapid, high power delivery from your legs through to the wheels.

A perfect set of rings for triathlons, timetrials, road racing or even training when you want to work on your explosive race winning efforts.

Available in a 53-38 or a 53-41 configuration and suitable for Shimano and SRAM drive trains.
