As SRAM's top-level mechanical front derailleur you would expect the Red Yaw Braze-on Front Derailleur to be on the cutting edge. It certainly is, thanks to Yaw technology. Where traditional derailleurs just shift from side to side, Yaw technology allows the Red derailleur to rotate ever so slightly when shifting up and down. This eliminates the need for shifter trim, ultimately creating a more precise and direct shift feeling.

Also integrated into the derailleur is a chain spotter. This prevents your chain from slipping off and damaging your paintwork. The chain spotter can also be adjusted independent of the derailleur.

The SRAM Red Yaw Braze-on Front Derailleur has been optimised for use with SRAM's best-in-class X-GlideR chainrings, however, other chainrings can be used and the install markers make braze-on installation simple and quick.
