Designed to speed through an array of terrains with agility, comfort and power, the Scott Scale 950 Mountain Bike Frameset combines cutting-edge technology with optimal shaping to deliver efficient performances. Incredibly lightweight, this frame is an excellent option for those wanting a starting leap into the spectrum of mountain biking.
Weighing in at a low 1769 grams, this affordable frame features an excellent strength to weight ratio ideal for heavy hitting rides. Mimicking the geometry of Scott's higher-end carbon models, the Scott Scale 950 has been designed with a combination of a thicker downtube and thinner chainstays and seatstays. The greater volume in the downtube not only offers a platform to support power fuelled pedal strokes but also aids in dissipating and damping impact shocks for improved ride quality. A curved seat tube works homogeneously with the thinner seatstays and chainstays to offer enough flex for ride comfort and pedal efficiency.
Design to accommodate disc brakes, this frame manoeuvres technical terrains with composed handling and precision control. The boost geometry increases the rigidity of the rear triangle, providing minimal flex under powerful braking loads, so you can be assured of fantastic stopping power through steep terrains.
