Scott Speedster 20 Road Bike 2018
The Scott Speedster 20 Road Bike 2018 combines a double butted alloy frameset and full carbon forks for a perfect blend of efficiency, comfort and durability; features heavily desired by cyclists of all disciplines. The 6061 alloy used is light enough for high-velocity riding, whilst remaining tough enough to handle uneven road surfaces with ease. Additionally, the tapered full carbon fork increases front end stiffness for more responsive handling, while its carbon construction dampens unwanted road feedback before it is transferred onto the rider's wrists, greatly improving comfort on long rides.
The Shimano Tiagra 10-speed groupset provides instant, crisp shifting, allowing you to accelerate up to maximum velocity with ease, the Tektro SCBR-525 callipers compliment this perfectly, with their sharp, responsive performance, you can decelerate into corners confidently. Throw the 28mm wide Schwalbe Lugano tyres into the mix and this truly is a fast, stable bike, designed to carry speed through even the most undulating of routes
Scott wanted to ensure this bike looks as good as it performs, and the catalogue of Syncros components achieve just this, colour-coded exactly to the frame's paint, the overall design is seamless and sleek. Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
