Shimano GRX Ltd Single 11-Speed Groupset
Shimano’s gravel-specific GRX Ltd Single 11-speed Groupset includes everything needed to enjoy superb shifting and braking on drop bar, off-road rides. The groupset is identical to the standard version but has a classic-looking silver finish rather than dark grey anodising.
The wide-range 11-speed XT M8000 cassette has 42 teeth at the large end, which gives plenty of hill climbing ability and great shifting in any conditions. This is paired with a 1x chainset that keeps things simple as there is no need for a front derailleur.
Shifting and braking are actuated by the GRX Limited 1x Levers, with ergonomic hoods and textured lever blades for more comfort, better grip and increased control whilst the calipers offer Servo Wave technology for more power and easier modulation. RT-MT800 Ice Tech Center Lock Disc Brake Rotors are included, as are finned disc brake pads for better cooling and fade-free performance.
The rear derailleur has a chain stabilising switch to reduce bounce for a quieter drivetrain and help with chain retention on rough ground. The long cage design can cope with cassettes with up to 42 teeth whilst cold-forged aluminium link plates and body keep the weight down without compromising on durability.
