Specialized Crosstrail Expert Carbon Disc Hybrid Bike 2018
Carbon isn't just lightweight, it's also incredibly strong and comfortable, the ideal material of choice then for the Specialized Crosstrail Expert Carbon Disc Hybrid Bike 2018. Using Specialized's FACT 9R carbon for the frame and an SR Suntour NCX fork, this is the perfect bike for racking up the miles on.
Alongside this superb frameset comes the Tektro Flow Set Control hydraulic disc brakes. These powerful brakes ensure confidence-inspiring stopping power in both wet and dry conditions while the 160mm front and 140mm rear rotors do a fantastic job of dissipating excess heat.
A major upgrade from the Crosstrail Elite is the 11-speed drivetrain. This drivetrain is designed for rugged durability and smooth shifting. A double chainring adorns the crankset and combines with a wide 11-42T cassette on the back so you can easily power up steep gradients.
Specialized's Trigger Sport Reflect tyres provide grip over both smooth tarmac and rough dirt roads and paths. This helps to boost the Crosstrail's all-road credentials whilst the Phenom Comp saddle means longer excursions are comfortable.
Further adding comfort, Specialized have added their CG-R, FACT carbon seatpost, to finish off what is a fantastic, versatile bike.

- An SR Suntour NCX fork w/ Fitness Brain technology features 60mm of coil-sprung travel that takes the sting out of bumpy terrain, while an integrated remote lockout is coupled with Fitness Brain technology to promote more climbing and pedalling efficiency
- Braking duties are handled by Tektro Flow Set Control hydraulic disc brakes to ensure effective, consistent, and reliable power through any kind of terrain or condition

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
