Mud, dirty, knobbly tyres, breakneck speeds, this is cyclocross and for 2015 this is the Specialized CruX Pro Carbon Disc Cyclocross Frameset 2015. The new kid on the cycling block at the moment is disc brakes, providing precision braking performance, unparalleled modulation and great mud-shedding capabilities. Specialized recognised this and created the CruX Pro Carbon Disc frameset.

Specialized FACT 10r carbon has been used, both incredibly strong and lightweight. All ready to mount some disk brakes and your favourite finishing kit too and you are ready to hit the trails. The new designed tapered headtube with a 1-1/8 upper and 1- 3/8 lower. This provides an improved ride quality, responsive feedback and allows for an aggressive position. This carbon frame has been paired with an equally competent FACT Carbon fork. Creating a ride with direct steering, comfort and pin sharp handling.

Hotly anticipated with race ready geometry. Billed as a Tarmac SL4 for the mud, race ready, aggressive and ultra responsive, everything you want from a top of the range cyclocross frame.

Mud is this frames friend, as generous tyre clearance has been added to the fork as well as widely spaced, chunky seat stays. The frame has also been internally cabled, keeping the mud at bay and keeping the cable from snagging on trees or other debris. It also gives a clean look to the already stunning looking frame.

Major development has been invested in the new OSBB bottom bracket, one-piece shell. Stiffer than previous Specialized cyclocross frames, giving direct and uncompromised power delivery straight through the pedals onto the road. No watts will be wasted with this frame. This is the same one-piece shell that is used in the sensational Tarmac road range.

It may not look like a conventional seatpost but the Specialized CG-R FACT carbon is incredibly lightweight and effective. Allowing single bolt adjustment, easing saddle adjustment and proving a strong and secure platform to mount your saddle on. The shape of the seatpost dampens vibrations and provides comfort over the roughest terrain. This is the same seatpost that is used on the Roubaix range and raced on by the likes of Tom Boonen in the cobbled classic, Paris Roubaix.

A unique and off the wall colour scheme has been used, combining gloss orange, white, yellow and red. Bet that is a combination you have never heard of before. The result is a stunning and beautifully looking frame, so nice in fact you may think twice about taking it off road and getting it muddy!
