Specialized Epic Expert Carbon Evo Mountain Bike 2020
The Specialized Epic Expert Carbon Mountain Bike has that familiar Epic DNA - the snappy handling, the lightweight chassis and the top drawer components - but with a slightly more aggressive finish that includes a dropper post and a longer fork. The result? It delivers extra comfort for longer rides and races, making it a perfect option for multi-day events, big all-day adventures and fastpacking through backcountry.
At the back, the custom RockShox features Specialized's iconic Brain technology that reads the trail and adjusts suspension according to the nature of the terrain. When it's flat the Brain keeps things firm and agile for maximum power transfer and when things start getting rough the suspension kicks in, smoothing out the surface and absorbing hits from ruts and rocks. When the trail drops away bring the dropper post into play to maximise freedom of movement and improve handling.
A SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain with 12-speed cassette and 1X 32T alloy chainring delivers crisp shifting and has plenty of range whatever direction the trail points. The bike rolls on stiff, lightweight 29" Roval carbon hoops that eat up the ground and carry speed into punchy climbs so you always have momentum and the 120mm FOX step Cast 34 fork brings extra control and comfort.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. Visit our Bike Assembly page to see how you assemble your new bike once you receive it.
All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
