Specialized Pitch Expert 27.5" 1x Mountain Bike 2020
Completely ready for off-road adventures and exploration, the Specialized Pitch Expert 27.5" 1x is the perfect introduction to the world of mountain bikes. The A1 Premium Aluminium frame uses Specialized’s Sport Trail 27.5 Geometry for great handling and the cables are internally routed for tidiness and to protect them. With either 80mm or 100mm of travel depending on frame size, the SR SunTour XCR fork also improves control on rough terrain and makes life more comfortable too by absorbing bumps and shocks.
Deore has long been a stalwart of the Shimano MTB drivetrain range, offering much of the performance of their more expensive offerings at a more wallet-friendly price. On the Pitch it is set up in a 1x10-speed guise, ensuring simplicity of operation and a wide range of ratios thanks to the 11-42 cassette. Equally effective are the MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which provide great stopping power and modulation with just a light squeeze of the lever whether the trails are muddy or dry.
The combination of 27.5” wheels and 2.3” wide Specialized Ground Control Sport tyres is well suited to the bike’s off-road intentions, with a grippy tread pattern and enough width and volume to provide great traction and excellent cushioning from rocks and roots.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
