Specialized’s Rockhopper is widely regarded as one of the most iconic and versatile models to date, and the latest Comp 29 Mountain Bike is no exception.
Constructed from a premium A1 Alloy, the Rockhopper balances strength and weight perfectly, while the tried and tested Sport XC Geometry places the rider in a comfortable position with a full view of the trail ahead.
Offering 80-100mm of travel depending on the bike size, the SR Suntour XCM provides smooth and reliable coil sprung performance, while a 46mm offset ensures a stable ride on challenging terrain.
Shimano’s 9-speed Acera drivetrain is durable and crisp, while the SunRace 11-36T cassette allows you to tackle the steepest of hills with ease. Shimano BR-MT200 brakes are another welcome addition, with their hydraulic disc design providing modulated, sharp stopping power through mixed weather conditions.
Completed with Specialized’s own wheels and tyres, the Rockhopper’s performance is further enhanced. The 29 inch wheels are faster and smoother than smaller variants, rolling over uneven ground with ease. Utilising a 2.3 inch wide front tyre and a 2.1 inch rear, there is plenty of grip on loose surfaces, ensuring a confidence-inspiring ride every time.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
