Specialized Rockhopper Expert 29" Mountain Bike 2019
Specialized’s 29" Rockhopper Expert makes the perfect choice for those looking to get into the world of mountain biking, as well as a dependable training bike for experienced riders. Constructed from a lightweight A1 SL alloy, this versatile machine offers durability and a low overall weight, while the XC Sport Geometry ensures consistent performance between sizes.
Comfort is taken care of by SR Suntour’s XCR-Air 29 Fork, with its adjustable rebound and size specific travel ensuring optimum performance for both rider height and terrain type. The use of boost spacing improves stiffness and adds some much-needed mud clearance, while a threaded bottom bracket reduces any unwanted creaking.
Built around a 9-speed drivetrain, the Rockhopper provides a gear range broad enough to tackle even the steepest of climbs, while Shimano’s tried and tested Deore rear derailleur ensures crisp, reliable shifting at the push of a button. Further complementing this bikes performance are a pair of Shimano BR-MT200 Hydraulic Disc Brakes, offering great modulation and rapid cooling so you can ride with confidence down the toughest of descents.
Equipped with Specialized’s Stout 29" Wheels, the Rockhopper rolls over uneven terrain that would see smaller wheeled varieties getting caught up. Similarly, the Fast Trak and Ground Control Tyre combination offers the ideal combination of front wheel traction and low rear wheel rolling resistance.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
