Specialized's latest development, Future Shock suspension, acts as a piston in the head tube to offer 20mm of travel, making this bike ideal for rough roads as it improves vertical compliance by eliminating fork splay. The result is that your bike carries far more energy through rough sections of road while also smoothening out your ride for a greater level of comfort and efficiency. In Specialized's Rolling Efficiency Model the Ruby outperformed any other women's bike on the market, so expect a seriously smooth and fast ride.
Future Shock suspension combines with Specialized's premium FACT 10r carbon and a new seatpost clamping construction that adds torsional compliance for added comfort whilst you are sitting in the saddle and putting the power down.
The 12mm thru-axle is designed for use with disc brake wheels, helping to add stiffness and strength. Tektro Spyre mechanical disc brakes ensure powerful and reliable stopping power through both wet and dry conditions while the Specialized Turbo Pro tyres maintain grip and rolling efficiency.
Gearing is taken care of with Shimano's workhorse 105 11-speed system and a compact Praxis Alba crankset. This combination provides a forgiving range of gears that is more than capable of dealing with tough inclines.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
