The Specialized S-Works Epic 29" represents the next generation of hardtail mountain bikes. Lightweight, durable and immensely stiff, this is a bike designed for those looking to ride faster and further than the competition. Built around a FACT 12m carbon frame, the S-Works Epic utilises RockShox’s premium SID World Cup fork, a SRAM XX1 Eagle drivetrain and a set of Roval Control SL Wheels to ensure you have every possible advantage come race day.

Offering the discerning rider unrivalled performance out on the trails, the Specialized S-Works Epic Hardtail sits in a class of its own. More than just a featherweight cross-country mountain bike, this versatile machine has the capabilities to tackle terrain far beyond its short travel setup suggests.

Constructed from a premium FACT 12m carbon fibre and utilising a 12x148mm boost rear spacing, this lightweight bike is phenomenally stiff and durable, while the RockShox SID World Cup Brain fork offers uncompromising performance across any surface. Utilising a 15x110mm thru-axle and size specific travel, riders are ensured optimum geometry and control no matter their height, while the solo air setup provides silky smooth operation.

Being Specialized’s top tier hardtail, it is only right the S-Works Epic be fitted with SRAM’s most premium drivetrain. Providing an incredibly low overall weight and crisp, reliable shifting, the XX1 Eagle components are a pleasure to use, while the broad 10-50T 12-speed cassette offers exceptional climbing capabilities. Finished with matching SRAM Level hydraulic disc brakes, a confidence inspiring ride is guaranteed.

Rolling on a pair of carbon fibre Roval Control SL Wheels, the performance is further enhanced, with near instant pickup and lightning fast acceleration. Similarly, the Specialized Fast Trak Tyres hit the sweet spot between low rolling resistance and adequate grip, perfect for those looking to get the miles in, fast.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested

All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. Visit our Bike Assembly page to see how you assemble your new bike once you receive it.

All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service. 

Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
