Specialized Sirrus Expert Carbon X1 Disc Hybrid Bike 2017
Where other fitness and commuting bikes tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to striking the balance between performance and comfort and in the end not satisfying either, the Specialized Sirrus Expert Carbon X1 Disc Hybrid Bike 2017 excels at providing both.
The premium FACT 9r carbon fibre satisfies both the comfort and performance aspect of this bike, providing a lightweight, durable and comfortable frameset with Specialized's fitness geometry. This combines with Zertz vibration-dampening inserts in the seat stays and fork, which help to neutralise road vibration.
While a fantastic frameset is one thing, reliable and smooth gearing is another. Thankfully, Specialized have utilised a SRAM 11-speed one-by drivetrain that provides crisp and reliable shifting over a variety of terrain.
Braking is provided by Shimano's Deore hydraulic disc brakes, which provide strong stopping power in both the wet and the dry while the Body Geometry engineered contact points at the saddle and handlebars are designed to keep you riding comfortably hour after hour, day after day.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
