The injection-moulded nylon composite sole provides great stiffness for a shoe at this level. It reaches a 6.0 on the Stiffness Index, giving you, the rider, a great power transfer for tackling steep, technical climbs or conserving energy over long periods of time in the countryside.
For the upper, Specialized have used a combination of their supple synthetic material and mesh vent panels for superb breathability and comfort. Three Velcro straps form a durable and easy-to-use closure system that alleviates pressure points.
