The Tern GSD R14 Electric Cargo Bike delivers a versatile design alongside a whole host of high-end features and accessories to make journeys by bike more comfortable. At its core is a strong alloy frame capable of carrying loads of up to 200kg, with a step-thru design to make mounting and dismounting easier. The Bosch motor and battery system takes the effort out of your rides, offering a natural feel and up to 400% assistance. Paired with the right accessories, you can carry up to two kids plus shopping, or heavy cargo, and the dual-battery provides 1000Wh for a range of up to 128 miles depending on usage. 

It may be a highly capable bike, but the footprint remains small, around that of a traditional bicycle, and it's easy to store, either vertically or folded down flat to one-third of the size, which is also ideal for transportation. 

The cockpit can be adjusted, as can the saddle and seatpost, allowing the GSD to be used by different family members. Riding is stable thanks to a low centre of gravity and the rider's feet will be able to touch the ground when coming to a stop. Comfort is further enhanced by suspension in the fork and seatpost, absorbing shock from bumpy roads. 

The high-quality Rohloff E14 hub brings electronic drivetrain reliability to the build and there are 14 gears to choose from. Shifting is incredibly simple, and with the push of a button you can shift to any gear, even when stationary, and automatic downshifting means you'll be in an easy gear after slowing down or stopping, ready to go again. This system is extremely low maintenance and is made to last year after year.

When loading or unloading the bike, the Atlas lockstand is a useful feature. This strong and stable kickstand locks into place automatically, and when it's time to roll off again, simply press the Remote Unlock lever and go. Other additions include front and rear lights, a bell, mudguards and a lock, keeping you and your bike safe and well protected throughout the journey.
