Big on features, small in size; the Tern HSD S+ Electric Cargo Bike is ideal for carrying heavy cargo, riding with your child in tow, or simply doing the weekly shop, with a maximum carrying capacity of 170kg and a dedicated trailer mount. The compact design makes the bike easy to handle, whether you're riding, storing or transporting, and it's shorter than a standard bike. With an extra-long Atlas H Rack™, kids get a spacious and comfortable ride, and a whole host of Passenger System accessories (available separately) can be paired to accommodate a growing family.  

Enviolo's AUTOMATiQ system delivers automatic shifting, so there's less to think about. As you accelerate from a standstill it'll shift up, and shift down as you slow for a red light, with the Bosch® Performance Line motor providing assistance up to a maximum speed of 15.5 mph / 25 km/h. You can customise this feature by setting your desired cadence on the Bosch Intuvia display or using the associated app. The Gates Belt Drive simplifies the drivetrain even more and is maintenance-free. Magura MT4 hydraulic disc brakes are effective and reliable in all conditions, stopping you on-demand, quickly and safely. The pairing of Atlas Wheels and Schwalbe tyres is more than capable of handling the weight of bike, rider and cargo, and good puncture protection means you'll spend less time at the side of the road. 

A key feature of the HSD is the ability to fold it flat in 15 seconds, making it easy to take in a car or on the bus. If you only have a small amount of spare floor space at home or in the office, you can flip the bike up for vertical parking. Comfort has been prioritised within the design and component choices. The low centre of gravity and long wheelbase, along with a Suntour suspension fork, make the ride smooth and stable and a step-thru frame simplifies mounting and discounting. The saddle, seatpost and stem can be adjusted, along with the whole bike, which resizes quickly to fit riders from 150cm - 195cm tall. 

Safety is paramount, and there are built-in front and rear lights as well as reflectors on the tyre sidewalls. An Abus lock provides peace of mind when you want to grab a coffee, and the rear kickstand allows you to leave the bike stable and upright.
