Sitting at the higher end of the Trek Madone spectrum, the Trek Madone 9.2 C H2 Road Bike 2017 is the epitome of aerodynamically optimised, high-speed efficiency thanks to its wind tunnel design that cuts through wind like a hot knife through butter and its lightweight, durable 600 Series OCLV carbon layup.
The frame uses Trek’s acclaimed KVF (Kammtail Virtual Foil) tube shape that’s designed to use wind as an ally, not a foe. The wind warps around the tubes instead of hitting them head on, allowing you to flow through the air faster than you ever thought possible. This, alongside the 600 Series OCLV Carbon, allows you to keep your overall weight low and your efficiency high.
The Madone KVF full carbon fork also optimises this wind cheating ability by taking the same approach to aerodynamics. Efficiency is further enhanced by the fork absorbing major bumps and vibrations, keeping your position stronger for longer, and reducing any discomfort over long distances. Madone’s aero integrated brakeset hides the brake calipers from the wind, too, but also provides you with powerful, dependable braking in a wider range of conditions.
Madone’s XXX integrated bar/stem truly is a revelation in the aerodynamic market. It provides a sublime blend of aerodynamics and rigidity, alongside lowering the overall weight of the bike by reducing any excess materials or parts.

The 11-28 cassette isn’t much of a climbing cassette, but it sure does allow you to power along the straights and beat those PB’s you’ve been yearning for.
Bontrager Aura Tubeless Ready clincher wheels and Bontrager R3 Hard-Case Lite 700 x 25c tyres provide all the strength, rigidity and grip you need when hitting new speeds, too. They tyres are optimised for this wheelset, allowing you to brake later thanks to excessive grip, whilst the wheels cut through wind like the rest of the bike thanks to their deep rims.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
