Trek Project One Emonda SLR 9 Red eTap AXS Disc Road Bike 2021
Trek’s Project One Emonda SLR 9 Red eTap AXS Disc Road Bike is a mouthwatering mix of aerodynamics, incredibly low weight and cutting edge technology. The frame itself is made from Trek’s Ultralight 800 Series OCLV Carbon and weighs less than 700 grams (claimed, size 52cm), which is light by any standards, but as it has also been aerodynamically shaped the weight is even more impressive.
The gram-chasing continues with the Bontrager Aeolus RSL 37 OCLV Carbon wheelset, which combines low weight with low drag along with being tubeless-ready, giving credence to Trek’s claim that it is their fastest climbing bike ever. As befits such a rolling chassis, the components are equally high performance, with SRAM’s fully electronic, totally wireless, 12-speed RED eTap AXS groupset providing flawless, instantaneous shifts at the touch of a lever. SRAM’s AXS app allows certain shift functions to be customised to personal preference as well as keeping an eye on battery levels and usage.
A quiet drivetrain is assured thanks to the rear derailleur’s Orbit chain management, which uses a fluid-filled damper to control bounce, whilst the chainset includes a Quarq power meter to optimise racing strategy and training sessions. Cornering confidence is essential for momentum, so SRAM’s RED eTap AXS hydraulic disc brakes are essential for all-weather pace, allowing later, harder braking whatever the conditions. The integrated stem/handlebar and thru-axle also help in this respect, keeping the front end tracking straight and true for control and speed.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
