The Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM V1 GPS Cycling Computer and TICKR X HRM Bundle is a great training companion for running, swimming and cycling.
The TICKR X HRM is not just a heart rate monitor, but can also give detailed running analytics such as vertical oscillation, ground contact time and cadence. It has a 50 hour memory so doesn’t need to be paired with a GPS device or phone, meaning less to carry when running or if used for swimming. However, Bluetooth and ANT+ technology allow it to be used in conjunction with other devices if required.
The best Wahoo device for navigation, the ELEMNT ROAM GPS Cycling Computer is ideal for planning and following routes, whether on the tarmac or off-road. The large colour display is simple to read whilst the pages and fields can be personalised to show exactly the data required via the Wahoo app. It can be integrated with a smartphone to display messages and incoming phone calls, with two sets of LEDs that can be used for added warnings or prompts. Routes mapped out on a variety of online software such as Strava or Singletracks can be downloaded to the device.
Bluetooth allows it to also be connected to external devices such as SRAM AXS wireless gearing for information about battery life and gear selection as well as ANGI helmet crash detection. There is an out-front mount included as well as a stem mount.
