The Wahoo KICKR Indoor Smart Turbo Trainer 2016 provides an enhanced and realistic experience so you can immerse yourself in your indoor training.
Extremely powerful, the KICKR can handle up to 2000 watts of power so even the sprinters are well catered for, and the resistance of gradients of up 20% will be matched. When using training platforms such as Zwift and Trainer Road your terrain will be accurately replicated.
The KICKR has one of the quietest flywheels available at just 61db so there's no need to worry about disturbing your neighbours on those early morning and late night sessions. The trainer has a solid and grounded feel thanks to its robust steel construction so you can put all your power down without the worry that your trainer will move around.
The LED lights give you confirmation that the trainer is connected, powered and transmitting so you know when it is ready to go. Compatibility with Bluetooth Smart 4.0, FE-C and ANT+ allows you to track your training data on a smartphone, laptop or tablet and provides the link between the turbo and third party apps.
The wheel off design means you won't wear out your road tyres or need to purchase a turbo specific tyre and there is no need to use a riser block under the front wheel thanks to the adjustable legs. Shimano/SRAM compatibility comes as standard however it is possible to purchase a separate adapter for Campagnolo setups, increasing the versatility of the unit, so almost all riders are catered for.
