Zipvit Sports ZV Max 120 Capsules

Phosphate loading is one of the few proven ways to quickly boost oxygen uptake and performance. Although phosphates are a natural part of the diet it is often difficult to eat enough to optimize oxygen transport. That’s why Zipvit Sport’s ZV Max was formulated and provides a simple and effective way to boost oxygen uptake (VO2 max) and performance. The phosphate buffers in ZV Max work by increasing the levels of 2,3-diphosphoglycerate in red blood cells. This weakens the binding of oxygen to hemoglobin, allowing more oxygen to be unloaded at the muscles when it is needed most.

Scientific studies show ZV Max’s exclusive phosphate formula could boost VO2 max by 6 to 12% and anaerobic threshold by 10 to 12%1, 2, 3. In cyclists this can translate to 20% more endurance and an increase in power of 9.8% during a 10 mile time trial 1 and 8% over a 40km time trial 4. These changes don’t occur immediately and during loading it takes 3 days for the levels of phosphates to accumulate sufficiently to alter 2,3-diphosphoglycerate. Continuing supplementation allows performance gains to be maintained for up to three days, making ZV Max perfect for use during tapering to peak for important events.
