Zipp 202 wheels are, first and foremost, a climber's wheel.

At just 1081gms a pair the 202 is well suited to the job of going uphill but that's only half of the story. Anything that goes up has to come down as well and Zipp's wheel tunnel development has created a wheel that rolls more efficiently on the flat than most normal 46-50mm section rims. The wheels use Zipp's 88/188 hubset and the spoke nipples are now external for easier servicing at no aero penalty.
