Zipp 60 Carbon/Alloy Clincher Wheelset
Experience speed and elite performance without the eye-watering price tag with the Zipp 60 Carbon/Alloy Clincher Wheelset. With dimpled carbon fibre rims, a redesigned hub as well as a strong and ultra-reliable alloy braking surface these are the perfect wheels for the racer on a budget.
The solid foundation of these wheels comes in the form of the new hub, which is 10 or 11-speed compatible. The all-new hub design makes it as durable as it is fast. Stainless steel bearings ensure years of smooth riding and the hub is precision set, so it requires no pre-load adjustment. Connecting to this fast rolling hub with rapid engagement at the rear the lightweight Sapim® CX-Ray spokes.
The 60's shell is formed from ultra-strong and lightweight 7075-T6 aluminium this provides a superb level of rigidity and strength while also ensuring that the braking track is reliable and robust. Zipp’s M2CM™ technology fuses the aluminium hoop to the inner carbon section during the moulding process. The American manufacturer's iconic ABLC™ dimple pattern smoothes airflow across the rim’s surface, reducing the amount of turbulence that the rim creates through the air.
At 58 millimetres, the rim depth of the 60 wheelset is well suited to all-round riding, especially fast and flat routes. Finishing off both the front and rear rims are eye-catching Zipp decals.
