Specialized has recently announced a recall for a range of bikes and framesets which are from the Tarmac SL7 range. This is applicable for bikes from MY21 onwards.
If you purchased a bike from us we ask that you contact [email protected] with your original order number, a photo of the bike, and the serial number which can be found in two locations on most Specialized bikes: a sticker under the top tube or under the bottom bracket.
Please note that the issue is surrounding the headset and parts fitted within this and the preload assembly employed on the bike. In regard to the solution Specialized are replacing the part with an updated design. This will be carried out quickly and efficiently to ensure your riding remains as uninterrupted as possible.
Our team will provide further instructions on how to proceed. In the meantime, we ask that you stop using the bike as while the recall is voluntary and Specialized have not reported any injury or failures, we do want to ensure any bike affected is checked over fully.
