WHAM! popstar turned cyclist Andrew Ridgeley takes Matt Stephens on a stunning tour of Cornwall in this delightful episode of the Sigma Sports Café Ride. Both men have a love of music stretching back to the heyday of vinyl, and after a quick stop at a record shop, it was time to embark on Andrew’s gruelling route with plenty of hills to test the legs. But when the sun shines on a summer’s day, the rewards are certainly worth it.

With stops for selfies along the beautiful Cornish coastline, a beachside coffee stop and fish and chips by the harbour wall, this could well be the perfect summer training ride.

ENVE Melee Disc Road Bike

The Bike

It wasn't just the stunning Cornish coastline turning heads on this Cafe Ride episode, for this hilly seaside adventure, our friends at ENVE provided Matt with their flagship road bike, the Melee Road Frameset. This was no run of the mill machine though, as it was delivered in Team TotalEnergies colours and was given a personal touch in the form of a name sticker on the toptube. The frameset comes as standard with an ENVE SES Aero Road Integrated handlebar and ENVE Aero Road stem, while finishing touches including an ENVE SES 4.5 Disc Brake wheelset and ENVE SES TLR Clincher tyres were neat additions.

Matt Stephens Wearing Castelli Espresso Kit

The Kit

Andrew Ridgeley has long been known as a style icon and a man who knows a thing or two about dressing for the occasion. Matt therefore knew he had to bring his A-game for this episode and enlisted the help of ABUS and Castelli to help make it happen. From the ABUS Gamechanger 2.0 helmet to the Castelli Espresso clothing, Matt balanced style with functionality and added a pair of Oakley Sutro Lite sunglasses and Lake CX238 Road Cycling shoes into the mix to cap off the look.
